We are excited to share the successful trial landing of an aircraft on the newly constructed 10,000-feet long international standard runway at Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar. A six-member team from the Airports Authority of India conducted the trial, which involved not only the landing but also an aerial inspection of the airport and surrounding areas, including the city area. Key Highlights: Successful Trial Landing: Yesterday afternoon, the BTCNS aircraft successfully landed on the new runway. Official Inspection: The six-member team from Delhi conducted a thorough inspection during their flight and at the airport. Warm Welcome: The team was welcomed by the Civil Aviation Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta, upon arrival. Positive Feedback: Captain Surendra Katoch, the pilot, praised the runway and overall infrastructure, giving Hisar Airport a perfect score of 100. He mentioned that visual flights will commence soon after the necessary licenses are obtained. Future Prospects: Dr. Kamal Gupta expressed optimism about receiving the flight operation license within a week, with plans to start flights from Hisar to Ayodhya first. Economic Impact: An MoU has been signed with the National Integrated Corridor Development Corporation. A Japanese company has requested 250 acres for business, and the American Trade Development Authority has selected Hisar as one of five locations in the country for their operations. This development is expected to create job opportunities for around 125,000 people in the industrial manufacturing cluster spanning 3,000 acres.
