Special Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple on the Fourth Shravan Monday | Grahak Chetna

On the auspicious fourth Monday of Shravan, the doors of the Bhutbhavan Lord Mahakaleshwar Temple were opened at 2:30 AM for the sacred Bhasma Aarti. Although the Bhasma Aarti is performed every day at 3 AM during Shravan month, today’s ritual held special significance. The temple priest, Pandit Ashish Guru, shared that as per the daily procedure, the silver door was opened after seeking permission from Lord Veerabhadra. Following this, the deity was worshipped with Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar) and water infused with saffron. The special decoration of Baba Mahakal was done with sandalwood paste and bhang (cannabis). After the special adornment, Bhasma was offered to the deity by the Mahant Nirvani Akhada, filling the temple with the resonant chants of "Jai Shri Mahakal." #MahakaleshwarTemple #ShravanMonday #BhasmaAarti #Mahakal #Ujjain #LordShiva #GrahakChetna #HinduRituals #SpiritualIndia Please like share and subscribe
