Plast Nepal 2024: Transforming Nepal’s Plastic Industry | Grahak Chetna

The 4th Edition of Plast Nepal 2024, a three-day exhibition in Kathmandu, is fostering business-to-business connections within the South Asian region. Organized by India's Plastic Export Promotion Council, the event showcases 45 Indian stalls and over 150 companies from five countries, highlighting the growing demand for plastic products in Nepal. In the opening session, Nepal's Industry Minister Damodar Bhandari stressed the need for public-private cooperation to drive economic activities and tackle challenges like reducing imports and increasing exports. With Nepal's plastic industry valued at NPR 60 billion (~USD 500 million) and over 500 manufacturing units, the sector is crucial for the economy. Plast Nepal 2024 serves as a vital platform to strengthen ties, expand the industry's presence, and address Nepal’s reliance on Indian plastic exports, valued at USD 11.6 billion globally in 2023-24. The exhibition concludes this Saturday, driving growth and innovation in the sector. #PlastNepal2024 #NepalPlasticIndustry #SouthAsiaBusiness #IndianExports #PlasticManufacturing #EconomicGrowth #NepalIndustry #BusinessExpo2024 #KathmanduEvents #NepalIndiaPartnership #IrshadKhokhar #GrahakChetna #PrasarBharatiShabd #PlasticInnovation #SustainabilityInPlastic For more videos, visit our YouTube Channel - Click here to Subscribe and stay Updated - https://www.youtube.com/@GrahakChetna Grahak Chetna Website: https://www.grahakchetna.in/ YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/@GrahakChetna X (Twitter) : www.x.com/grahakchetna Facebook : www.facebook.com/grahakchetnanews Instagram : www.instagram.com/grahak.chetna
