As part of Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations, a special Mangal Puja and Aarti was performed at the Sri Mahadeva Temple on Kavarathi Island in Lakshadweep. The Ganesha Asthapna ceremony marked the beginning of nine days of puja rituals, leading up to the Ganesha Nimanchan program.
