Four including scrapyard owner admitted to GMC after unidentified gas leakage at Merces scrapyard
Four people including owner of scrapyard at Bamanbhat, Merces have been admitted to GMC after they started feeling uneasy due to leakage of unidentified gas from cylinders at the scrapyard.  Locals informed that the area was filled with the gas smell yesterday morning due to which several people in the area had difficulty in breathing. The owner of the scrapyard who came to check and put off the gas cylinders also fell sick with the smell. Several people in the locality were taken to GMC in 108 ambulance. While most were sent back after basic treatment, four have been admitted informed locals. 
Merces panchayat orders to shut down the scrapyard where Chlorine gas leakage was reported. The scrap yard was without valid permission.
