Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved over ₹1000 crore for improving urban infrastructure across 17 municipalities, including 7 major municipal corporations, 3 urban development authorities, and Class C and D smaller municipalities. The approved amount will enhance urban amenities, with ₹141 crore earmarked for the Urban Road Scheme. Key allocations include ₹7.75 crore for Mundra-Borai municipality’s road repairs, ₹4.46 crore for Vaghodia, ₹1.75 crore for Dabhoi, and significant funds for 3 major municipalities: Junagadh (₹25 crore), Jamnagar (₹47.53 crore), and Bhavnagar (₹54.88 crore).
