Assam By-Election Results: BJP and Allies Lead in Key Constituencies | Grahak Chetna
Assam assembly by-election vote counting began at 8 AM today, and significant trends have emerged. BJP is leading in Dholai and Behali constituencies, while AGP and UPPL candidates hold leads in Bongaigaon and Sidli, respectively.
Here are the latest updates as per the Election Commission of India (ECI):
Dholai: BJP’s Nihar Ranjan Das leads by 4,081 votes (Round 2).
Sidli: Nirmal Kumar Brahma (UPPL) ahead by 12,877 votes.
Bongaigaon: Diptimayee Choudhury (AGP) leads by 8,967 votes over Congress.
Behali: Diganta Ghatowal (BJP) leads by 5,586 votes against Jayanta Borah (Congress).
