Union Minister of Communications, Jyotiraditya Scindia, announced the Akshtalakshmi Mahotsav, emphasizing PM Narendra Modi’s vision for Northeast India’s development. Scheduled from December 6th to 8th at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Mahotsav will highlight the Northeast’s rich culture, handicrafts, textiles, and spiritual heritage.
Organized by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), this marks the first full-scale celebration of Northeast India’s vibrant traditions and craftsmanship. Under PM Modi’s leadership, the Northeast is being recognized as a driving force for the nation’s growth. The Akshtalakshmi Mahotsav is a significant step toward showcasing the region’s unique cultural and economic potential.
