India Condemns Attack on Brampton Temple, Cancels Consular Camps in Canada | Grahak Chetna
India has strongly condemned the recent attack on a temple in Brampton and urged Canada to uphold the rule of law. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, addressed the issue in a press conference today, announcing the cancellation of consular camps in Canada due to inadequate security for Indian diplomats and community organizers. The Indian Consulate in Toronto issued a statement explaining that the cancellation followed the Canadian authorities’ inability to provide minimum security for the scheduled camps. This decision reflects growing concerns over the safety of Indian missions and personnel in Canada.
