વિસનગર સિનેપ્લસ થિયેટરની કેન્ટીનમાં શોર્ટ સર્કિટ થવાના કારણે આગ લાગવાનો બનાવ બન્યો હતો. આ ઘટનામાં કેન્ટીનનો તમામ ફર્નિચર અને સામાન બળીને ખાખ થઈ ગયો, અને અંદાજીત 2 લાખનું નુકશાન થયું છે. સદનસીબે કોઈ જાનહાની થઈ નથી કારણ કે થિયેટર રિનોવેશન માટે બંધ હતું. નગરપાલિકાની ફાયર ટીમ અને મહેસાણાની ફાયર બ્રિગેડના સહકારથી બે કલાકની જહેમત બાદ આગ કાબૂમાં લાવી.
